About the event
10 MAY 2025: DR. BOB VANDERBEI, ASTROPHYSICS, PRINCETON UNIVERSITY -
Capturing Dynamic Astronomical Objects: From Supernovas to Moving Stars, Eclipses, and Occultations
Most astro things don’t change much over the course of our lifetime. It is especially exciting to be able to capture astro things that do change… stars with fast proper motion (like Barnards star), supernova events in nearby galaxies (like M51), supernova remnants that are still growing (like the Crab nebula), and other dynamic things.
